We're saving a seat for you!

We are a community of regular people seeking to love God and love our neighbors. We believe in a loving God and so we preach and practice grace. We aren't perfect and don't expect you to be either.

If you are considering a new place of worship or a relocation to our area, we would love to have you be our guest here at Inola United Methodist Church. We worship at 10:45 AM every Sunday.

We believe that you'll have a great experience here. We're saving a seat for you!

JULY UPDATE (it's long- read it anyway 😁)

Church Family, I wanted to update you on a couple of things. The first is our Church Council met on June 30th and discussed our reopening procedure. Due to the increasing number of cases, it was decided to remain in our "Phase One" reopening plan with only one change: those present in worship will be allowed to sing IF THEY ARE WEARING A MASK. We will still ask that you sing at or below a "normal" as opposed to projecting, but we hope this will offer a chance or meaningful worship for those who want to attend in person as well as sing.

Second, we still need volunteers to have in-person worship. This has changed slightly to only three volunteers, one person to check temps at the door and two ushers who will help people get seated as well as wipe down the pews after service (takes about 5 minutes). If you would like to serve, please click this link: WORSHIP VOLUNTEER SIGNUP and type your name in where you'd like to serve.

Finally, this Sunday, July 5th, will be the first time we will celebrate Holy Communion since the shut down happened months ago. I have taken every precaution I know how to make this as safe as possible. We have individually packaged elements with the wafer and juice together that will be used, meaning no one but you will touch either the wafer or the juice. In order to extend the Table as much as possible, we are offering three ways to receive Holy Communion:

    1. In-person at worship. We'll celebrate Communion with the normal liturgy and then you will be served at your seat.

    2. The second way will be for those who worshipped at home to come to the church right after the service and receive the elements in your car. I will be at the church for 30 minutes after the service with the elements that were consecrated in the service and you will be able to drive under the portico and receive them there.

    3. The final way will be for those who can't get out or don't want to risk even driving through. For those folks, the elements will be delivered to you for contactless delivery. Following the service, we will have volunteers deliver the consecrated elements to those who have signed up to receive. You must either fill out this 3-question form: COMMUNION REQUEST FORM or email/text/Facebook message/call Pastor Dylan by Saturday evening. The elements will be brought to your porch shortly after the worship service on Sunday.

Be on the lookout for a ZOOM Bible study group I'll be starting soon. I pray you are safe and find time to grow in your faith. Don't forget to join us each Sunday for worship either in person, live on our Facebook page, or on our YouTube page. If you have any questions or needs, please reach out to me. I continue to pray for our church family and our world during these times.
